The Jharkhand Police will constitute special monitoring teams in all districts of Jharkhand to trace and recover missing and abducted children and adults, in compliance with the directions of the Supreme Court.

The teams, headed by the Headquarters Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), will monitor the progress of investigations, recovery efforts and maintain data on missing persons. District Superintendents of Police have been directed to set up dedicated monitoring cells and submit progress reports every fifteen days for review by the CID and Police Headquarters.
