Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, is reportedly living in secrecy at an undisclosed location with highly restricted communication, according to a news report citing US intelligence officials. The report said that messages to the supreme leader are being delivered through a network of couriers, causing major delays in communication within the Iranian government and slowing negotiations with the United States.
US officials also claimed that intelligence gathered from inside Iran helped American and Israeli forces target senior Iranian leaders during Operation Epic Fury. Report also stated that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in recent strikes and has since adopted extreme security measures. He has not appeared live in public since the conflict began.
