The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Keralam, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. The Met Department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till tomorrow. The IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the Andaman Sea till tomorrow and the East Central and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal for the next two days.
