In Men’s Cricket, India will take on Afghanistan in the second T20 International at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi tomorrow. India lead the three-match series one-nil after a convincing seven-wicket win in the opening match last night.

 

Despite the early loss of Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma played a blistering innings of 82 off 32 balls, supported by Ishan Kishan’s 42, as India chased down the target of 157 set by Afghanistan for the loss of three wickets in 13.4 overs. Earlier, put into bat, Afghanistan posted 156 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.  The third match of the series will be played at the same venue on Thursday.
