The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red color warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall, with isolated extremely heavy rainfall, over Odisha today.

 

Heavy rainfall is also expected over parts of North East India, Bihar, West Bengal and Uttarakhand till tomorrow. The Weather Agency has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana during the next two days. 

 

Furthermore, heat wave conditions are expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the day. According to the Met Department, hot and humid weather conditions are expected over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rayalaseema, and Uttar Pradesh till tomorrow.
