Rain lashed several parts of Northwest India today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for moderate to heavy rainfall for Delhi today. Rainfall is also expected to continue over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till 12th of this month. According to the weather agency, Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, East Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka and parts of North-east India are also likely to receive heavy rainfall during the day.
