The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till tomorrow. The met department also predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala and Mahe till Wednesday.
IMD said that conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into parts of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next three to four days.
Meanwhile, the weather agency has predicted heat wave conditions over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh till tomorrow. It also noted that hot and humid weather are expected at isolated places over Saurashtra and Kutch for the day.
