Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some parts of Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, some more parts of Odisha and some parts of South Chhattisgarh during the next 2-3 days. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Mahe, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Parts of the North Eastern Region for the next three to four days.

 

The Met department has also forecast thunder squall over East Rajasthan till tomorrow. The Weather agency has predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Uttarakhand and West Bengal for the next three to four days.

 

Meanwhile, IMD has forecast heatwave conditions over Maharashtra for tomorrow. It added that Hot and Humid weather is expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and Odisha till tomorrow.
