As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, Defence Forces and other Armed Forces across the country will organise special band performances. In Keralam, under the aegis of the Southern Air Command, the Indian Air Force Band will present a musical tribute to the nation at the Nishagandhi Auditorium in Thiruvananthapuram on 12th and 13th of this month.

The event is open to the public and aims to foster a sense of national pride and unity through the power of music. The Indian Air Force Band, known for its precision, harmony and emotive renditions, will perform a rich repertoire of martial, patriotic and popular tunes reflecting the spirit of India.
