HM Amit Shah & other ministers participate in 125th birth anniversary programmes of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee

The whole nation is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee today. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah joined a chain of events in Kolkata today.
 
Home Minister today visited Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s ancestral home in Kolkata and paid his tribute. Before this, he participated in the ground-breaking ceremony for erecting a 125-foot statue of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. 
 
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajya Sabha member Shamik Bhattacharya and other dignitaries were present in today’s events.
 
Earlier, in the morning, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari took part in an event at Red Road in Kolkata, where the CM and other dignitaries paid floral tribute at the statue of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. 
 
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today laid the foundation stone of the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smart Industrial Park in Satgadhi, Bhopal. More than 200 leading industrialists and investors from across the country attended the event.
 
The Chief Minister said that Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee played an important role in India’s freedom struggle. On the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary, the Satgadhi area will be officially renamed after him.
 
The park will be built on about 173 acres of land. It will follow the ‘Work-Live-Grow’ model. Housing for workers, skill development centres and all basic facilities will be available within the same campus.
 
The park will focus on IT, Artificial Intelligence, high-value manufacturing, garments, the toy industry and logistics. It is expected to create more than 15 thousand direct and indirect jobs for the youth of Bhopal and nearby areas.
 
A world-class Convention and Exhibition Centre will also be built on about 25 acres. It will have the capacity to host international business summits and trade fairs.
 
At the foundation stone ceremony itself, Sagar Group announced an immediate investment of 100 crore rupees from the stage.
 
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s life was dedicated to the unity and integrity of India. He said this while addressing the 125th Birth Anniversary Program of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee in New Delhi.
 
Mr Gadkari described Dr Mookerjee as a symbol of unwavering patriotism, sacrifice and dedication. He said that Dr Mookerjee believed that India’s politics should be based on pure nationalism.
 
He further said that the true tribute to Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee would be to continue working in the direction of his ideals for the unity and integrity of the nation.
 
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid tributes to Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee and said that Dr Mookerjee was among the first to place the principle of ‘Nation First’ at the centre of national thought.
 
The Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP, Nagaland State unit, today observed the 125th birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee at the party’s State Headquarters in Kohima.
 
Addressing the programme, Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Legislature Party Leader Y. Patton paid tribute to Dr Mukherjee, describing him as a visionary leader whose life was dedicated to service, courage and nation-building.
 
He said Dr Mukherjee’s legacy continues to inspire generations through his emphasis on education, integrity, democratic values and national development.
 
Chief Minister Pema Khandu today officially inaugurated the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Road on his 125th Birth Anniversary at Lampya, Ward No. 16, Naharlagun.
 
In a social media post, Khandu said that the 4 km concrete road, stretching from Damsite Bridge to Kankar Nallah, is a powerful tribute to a visionary who wanted One Nation, One Constitution.
 
In the meantime, the CM has lauded the Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) and the PWD for the timely completion of the infrastructure.
