Chairman of the Haryana Quality Assurance Authority, Sameer Pal Srow, held a meeting with senior officials at the Quality Council of India headquarters in New Delhi. He said that the meeting involved detailed discussions on further strengthening the quality assurance framework in Haryana, fostering an institutional culture focused on quality, and ensuring effective compliance with quality standards in engineering infrastructure.
Additionally, deliberations were held on reinforcing existing quality inspection mechanisms for roads, buildings, bridges, and other public utility structures, as well as adopting modern quality management systems. Discussions also covered potential ways to enhance quality monitoring, project efficiency, and long-term maintenance through capacity building, the use of new technologies, and the exchange of expertise.
Mr. Sameer Pal Srow mentioned that the partnership between the two organisations was also explored as a means to foster strategic collaboration and effective interventions across various sectors in the state.
