The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will begin across Tripura tomorrow along with the rest of the country and continue until August 17. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has appealed to the people of the state to make the campaign a success by hoisting the national flag at their homes and institutions.

The Chief Minister urged citizens to uphold the ideals of national sovereignty, unity, integrity and patriotism through the campaign. He said that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the initiative is being organized this year as well to promote a renewed spirit of patriotism and pay tribute to the brave martyrs who dedicated their lives to the country’s freedom struggle.

Dr. Saha said the Tricolour is a symbol of pride, patriotism and national consciousness. He emphasized that the national flag represents India’s sovereignty, glory, nationalist spirit, patriotism and the glorious tradition of supreme sacrifice.
