The Gujarat State Election Commission has announced the schedule for the upcoming bye-elections to fifteen vacant seats across various local self-government bodies. Voting for these seats will take place on the 28th of this month, followed by the counting of votes on the 30th of July.

According to the official notification, the bye-elections will be held for one seat in the Junagadh Municipal Corporation, seven seats across Devgadh Baria and Visnagar municipalities, one seat in the Anand District Panchayat, and six seats across Halvad, Poshina, Satlasana, Harij, Netrang, and Fagvel taluka panchayats.

The last date for filing nomination papers is the 14th of July. Meanwhile, the deadline for withdrawal of nominations is the 16th for the district and taluka panchayat seats and the 17th for the municipal corporation and municipality seats.
