Benchmark domestic equity indices were trading in positive zone in the afternoon session today. The Sensex rose 190 points to 73,314, while the Nifty was up by 67 points to 22,667, when reports last came in.
In the broader market at the National Stock Exchange, the Midcap 100 index gained 0.6 per cent, and the Smallcap 100 index added 0.8 per cent, a short while ago.
On the sectoral front, Services, Healthcare and Pharma emerged as top gainers. Conversely, Banking, Insurance and Consumer Durables were dragging the most.
