The Director General of Aakashvani, Rajiv Kumar Jain arrived in Prayagraj today on the first leg of his four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. He held a review meeting with officials of Akashvani Prayagraj to discuss measures to expand the station’s listenership and increase revenue at the local level.
During the meeting, Mr. Jain emphasised the need to develop locally relevant programmes that would encourage more people to connect with Akashvani. He noted that Akashvani is also being accessed through digital platforms and stressed the importance of maintaining the organisation’s distinctive identity through quality content.
