In a social media post, the Chief Minister described Pingali Venkayya as the architect of India’s National Flag, who strengthened the spirit of patriotism across the country through the Tricolour. He said the great patriot earned the admiration and affection of Mahatma Gandhi and rendered unforgettable service to the nation by designing the National Flag. Mr. Naidu paid homage to the eminent freedom fighter and remembered his enduring contribution to the national identity.
