Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at multiple premises in connection with a bank fraud case of over 93 Crore rupees against Directors of Hanjer Biotech Energies Private Limited, in Mumbai.
The CBI had registered the case against the company, its directors and others last month following the complaint of Punjab National Bank, SAM Branch, Mumbai, for offences of criminal conspiracy and offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The agency said that during the searches, incriminating bank documents and property documents relevant to the investigation were recovered and seized.
