BJP criticises opposition parties for disrupting proceedings of Parliament

BJP today criticised the Opposition parties for disrupting the proceedings of Parliament saying that they are creating hurdles in the nation's progress.

Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson, Syed Zafar Islam raised questions over the wearing of black attire by the members of the Opposition party in Parliament. He alleged that their deeds and conduct are not appropriate. He said, despite several issues, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working to strengthen the economy and to ensure overall prosperity in the country. He said, since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, his only mission is to make India a developed country.

Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi also criticised the opposition for disruption in Parliament. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, he said, if the opposition has the majority, let them defeat the Bills moved by the government. He said, they neither participate in the discussion nor cooperate in the passage of Bills. He said, the government for discussion on No Confidence Motion within the specified time period. He added that the government has the number.
