Bangladesh has sought Bhutan’s support for revitalising SAARC for the collective benefit of the region and its people. The request was made during Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay’s brief transit stopover in Dhaka today. Bangladesh also expressed interest in contributing skilled and semi-skilled manpower to Bhutan’s Gelephu Mindfulness City project. The two sides discussed bilateral issues and reaffirmed the longstanding ties between Bangladesh and Bhutan.
