In Manipur, Assam Rifles organised a series of community outreach initiatives yesterday and today and these activities aimed to inspire the youth to embrace education, make informed career choices and adopt a healthy lifestyle. 

 

Yesterday Assam Rifles personnel conducted an outreach programme in Thanlon village of Pherzawl district which is an isolated village located around 130 km from Churachandpur. The event witnessed participation from 200 locals including students and youth. A senior official engaged with village elders to discuss regional development and education. A motivational session was held to encourage hard work and responsible conduct among students. Furthermore, an exhibition football match for boys and girls was organised to promote sportsmanship and unity.
