PM Modi distributes over 51,000 appointment letters to new recruits in various government departments

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised that government jobs serve as a vital means to improve and ease the lives of citizens. He made these remarks while addressing the 19th Rozgar Mela through video conferencing today.

The Prime Minister noted that the nation has placed its trust in its Karmayogis, and it is now their responsibility to honour and strengthen that trust through their dedication, conduct and everyday actions.

PM Modi highlighted that the world is eager to be a part of India’s growth journey. He said that the country is partnering with various nations across the world to provide opportunities, employment and global exposure to the youth of the country. He noted that India is becoming a trusted supply chain partner for the world.

The Prime Minister added that every Indian is working with the commitment to make India a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047, and to achieve this, the country is investing in several sectors. He highlighted that new employment opportunities are being created for the youth of the nation.

He encouraged the new appointees to make the most of the IGOT Karmayogi platform, noting that it would help them understand their responsibilities with ease. PM Modi expressed confidence that the new appointees would contribute to the nation’s progress and that their work and decisions would play a key role in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat.

In the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela today, more than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organisations. The Rozgar Mela was held at 47 locations across the country.

The newly recruited candidates, selected from across India, will join various ministries and departments, including the Ministries of Railways, Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, and the Department of Higher Education, among others
