The Indian Embassy in Bucharest today said all nine Indian seafarers aboard chemical tanker YARA J are safe, and the vessel has reached Romania’s Port of Constanta.
Indian Ambassador to Romania Manoj Mohapatra confirmed the development after speaking with Romanian authorities and the vessel’s security officer. He assured the crew of the government’s full support. Meanwhile, three Indian nationals rescued from the commercial vessel MV Royad Mammadov following an attack in the Black Sea on the 6th of this month have left Romania for India.
