2nd phase polls of Lok Sabha Election held peacefully in remaining 13 assembly segments of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency

The second phase polls of Lok Sabha Election was held peacefully on Friday in the remaining 13 assembly segments of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency and recorded 76.46 voter turnout till 5 PM.

 

The Mao assembly segment of Senapati district which is home polling stations of Independent candidate of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency- Shri S. Kho John registered highest voter turnout with 89.84 percent while the Jiribam assembly segment registered 59.85 percent voter turnout becoming lowest voter turnout among the thirteen assembly segments.
 
 

The voting was conducted at 848 polling stations and nine special polling stations spread across eight districts of the State from 7 in the morning to 4 in the evening. Four candidates are in fray for the lone Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency seat.
