In the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the Indian women’s team will begin its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at Edgbaston in Birmingham tomorrow.
India has a dominant record against Pakistan in T20 Internationals, leading the head-to-head contest with 13 wins from 16 matches. Yesterday, in the opening match of the tournament, hosts England defeated Sri Lanka by 87 runs at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
The month-long tournament is being hosted across England and Wales, while the final will be played on July 5 at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.
