Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has said that now geospatial technology is not just limited to mapping but has excelled across different genres like defence and logistics. He was addressing a workshop on government-industry synergy for geospatial transformation in New Delhi today. Dr Singh expressed confidence for the widespread growth of Geospatial Technology with the inclusion of new startups and entrepreneurs.
The workshop was organised by the Department of Science and Technology and Survey of India with the theme co-creating the geospatial economy for Viksit Bharat 2047.
