VP C. P. Radhakrishnan congratulates Indian athletes on Asian Games medal-winning performances

Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan has congratulated the Indian Men’s Hockey Team on winning the Gold Medal at the Asian Games 2026.
 
 
In a series of social media posts, the Vice-President described the win as a magnificent achievement, as the team successfully defended its crown and created history by winning consecutive Asian Games Gold Medals for the first time. He also extended his best wishes to the entire team for continued excellence and success. 
 
 
Mr Radhakrishnan also congratulated the Men’s Cricket Team on successfully defending their title and winning the Gold Medal at the Asian Games. The Vice-President said that it was a remarkable display of skill, composure and teamwork. He said, their splendid achievement has brought immense pride and honour to the nation. He also wished the entire team for continued excellence and success in the years ahead.
 
 
The Vice-President also congratulated Aman Sehrawat on winning the Gold Medal in the Men’s 57kg Freestyle Wrestling event, Antim Panghal on winning the Silver Medal in the Women’s 53kg Freestyle Wrestling event and Deepak Punia on winning the Bronze Medal in the Men’s 97kg Freestyle Wrestling event at the Asian Games 2026. Mr Radhakrishnan said that their performances reflect their unwavering commitment and dedication to excellence. He also wished all three wrestlers for continued success and many more achievements ahead.
 
 
 
Mr Radhakrishnan also congratulated Pranavi Sharath Urs on winning India’s first-ever Gold Medal in the Women’s Individual Golf event and to Aditi Ashok, Pranavi Sharath Urs and Diksha Dagar on securing the Silver Meda in the Women’s Team Golf event at the Games. The Vice-President said that these historic achievements mark a significant milestone for Indian golf. He said that their skill, determination and sustained excellence have brought immense pride to the nation. He also extended his wishes to all the champions for continued success.
Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan has also congratulated Kumkum Anil Mohod on winning India’s first-ever Gold Medal in the Recurve Women’s Individual event and Neeraj Chauhan on winning the Bronze Medal in the Recurve Men’s Individual event at the Asian Games 2026. The Vice-President said that their precision, composure and dedication have brought great pride to the nation. He said that their remarkable achievements inspire many more young archers to pursue excellence.
