Voting concludes peacefully for Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Election 

Polling for all 28 seats of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) was completed peacefully today. Voting commenced at 7 AM and concluded smoothly at 4 PM, as per the scheduled time. According to the preliminary data, the voter turnout recorded till 4 PM stood at over 81 per cent.
 
The Election Commission has stated that, overall, the polling process remained free, fair, and peaceful across all constituencies. High level of enthusiasm was observed among voters, with many arriving at polling stations well before the voting started. Long queues were seen across several polling booths since early morning, reflecting strong public participation in the democratic process.
 
Speaking to Akashvani News, State Election Commission Secretary Anurag Sen informed that a few complaints were reported from certain polling stations in Sepahijala, Khowai, and Dhalai districts. He added that reports have been sought from the respective Returning Officers, and further action will be taken after reviewing the details.
