Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has highlighted the importance of preserving India’s cultural roots, noting that culture is a strong bond that unites the country. Addressing the Antar-Hriday Connect Malhar event in New Delhi, the Vice President called upon the youth, particularly Gen Z, to contribute to reforming and strengthening the system with patience and responsibility. He underlined the importance of initiatives that expose young people to India’s diverse cultural traditions and strengthen their sense of belonging to the nation.
The Vice President noted that India’s classical music traditions have survived for centuries because they have continuously evolved while retaining their essence. He also said that music should be accessible to everyone, as it brings peace and connects people across regions, languages and cultures.
