Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has called upon students to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills and adapt themselves to rapid technological changes. He was speaking at the award ceremony of the third Shri Arun Jaitley Memorial Debate at Shri Ram College of Commerce, SRCC, in New Delhi today. The Vice President congratulated SRCC on completing 100 years and said the institution should remain energetic and vibrant while continuing to evolve with changing times. Recalling his association with former Union Minister Arun Jaitley, the Vice President described him as a leader with deep and comprehensive knowledge. He said that Mr Jaitley strongly believed in democracy and was willing both to engage in debate and listen to differing views. The Vice President expressed confidence that the institution will continue to produce leaders who contribute to the country’s growth and development. On this occasion, the Vice President also gave away the awards to the winners of the debate competition.
