US Secretary of State Marco Rubio today stated that India is at the cornerstone of how the United States approaches the Indo-Pacific. Inaugurating the US Embassy Support Annex Building in New Delhi, Secretary Rubio said, ” This is evident in the 20 billion dollars that Indian companies invested in the United States and in India signing up for Pax Silica.

He said, his visit will further reaffirm bilateral ties and build upon them. Secretary Rubio expressed confidence that Indian and US are going to have even more exciting and new announcements to make about strengthening of the relationship between the two countries.

Secretary Rubio called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump as two very serious leaders who are focused on the long term.
