Union Minister and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth questioned the Jharkhand government’s reluctance to order an independent investigation into the alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission examination. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News at Parliament premises, Mr Seth said that if students are demanding cancellation of the JSSC examination, the government should explain why it is opposed to their demand.
BJP MP Tarun Chugh today accused some opposition leaders of deliberately ignoring the ongoing students’ protest in Jharkhand. Speaking to reporters at Parliament premises, he alleged that these leaders have remained completely silent on the issue as the state is governed by their alliance partners. Mr Chugh demanded that all legitimate demands of the protesting students in Jharkhand should be addressed. He said that protest is everyone’s right and Satyagraha is everyone’s strength, but stressed that no one should take the law into their own hands under any circumstances.
BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal today expressed disappointment over continued disruptions by the opposition in Parliament. Speaking to the media on the Parliament premises, Mr Jaiswal said that the proposed FCRA Bill will ensure that funds brought in for social service are not diverted to anti-national activities.
