Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan reviewed the organisational preparations of the BJP in Goa during the party’s state executive committee meeting held in Panaji today. Addressing party workers, Murugan stressed the importance of ensuring that Central Government schemes reach every eligible citizen.
He called for further strengthening of the party organisation across all 40 Assembly constituencies in the state and urged workers to intensify grassroots outreach to secure a strong mandate in the 2027 Goa Assembly elections.
Goa BJP President Damodar Naik said the party will contest all 40 seats and expressed confidence in winning around 30 constituencies. He added that organisational gaps remain in around 10 constituencies and said efforts are underway to address them. Naik further stated that any decision on electoral alliances will be taken by the party’s central leadership at the appropriate time.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister Shripad Naik, Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade, and other senior leaders attended the meeting. The party also resolved to strengthen its organisational base in North Goa, South Goa, and the Kushawati region.
