Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya has congratulated Suchika Tariyal for winning the bronze medal in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Women’s Traditional-60 kg category at the Asian Games 2026. In a social media post, Mr Mandaviya said that this is a historic moment as it is India’s first-ever MMA medal at the Asian Games. Dr Mandaviya has also congratulated Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Parth Rakesh Mane and Himanshu Dhillon on securing the Silver Medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle Team event at the Asian Games 2026.
