Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will be leading the Indian delegation for the High-Level Commemorative Meeting in Belgrade, Serbia, from 31 of this month till 1st of September. The theme for the Meeting is ‘The Legacy of Non-Alignment: Lessons for Today’s World’.

The External Affairs Ministry, in a statement, said that the meeting marks the 65th Anniversary of the First Conference of Heads of State or Heads of Government of the Non-Aligned Movement. The Ministry noted that India is a founding member of the movement, which brings together 121 developing countries on a platform of historical significance. It added that India remains committed to the principles and values of the movement.
