Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju criticised the Congress party and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for repeatedly targeting Election Commission of India and other constitutional bodies.

 

Talking to the media in New Delhi, Mr Rjiju said that political parties should serve the people and accept the electoral mandate. He accused the Congress party of questioning constitutional institutions when it failed to secure public support. Mr Rijiju said that targeting constitutional bodies is neither in the interest of the country nor the Congress party.  

 

BJP Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari also accused the Congress Party of spreading false narratives through fabricated AI videos. Briefing the media at party headquarters, Mr Bhandari said that Congress party’s lies are the biggest threat to the democracy of the country.
