Union Minister Kiren Rijiju extended condolences to Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the demise of Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

In a social media post, the Indian Embassy in Doha said that the Minister also conveyed warm personal regards of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Amir of Qatar. The Prime Minister had earlier recalled Father Amir’s enduring legacy in Qatar’s development and his pivotal role in strengthening India-Qatar strategic partnership.
