Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu said Revenue Department is a vital arm of governance and plays a crucial role in delivering government schemes and services to poor and ordinary citizens.
Addressing Revenue Day celebrations in Srikakulam today, the Union Minister lauded revenue officials and staff for their contribution to the implementation of development and welfare programmes over the past two years.
He said revenue personnel have been at the forefront of land administration, disaster management and public service delivery. Stressing the need for speedy resolution of land-related issues, he said addressing such problems would help attract more investments and industries to Srikakulam district.
The Union Minister urged officials to adopt a positive approach towards resolving long-pending land disputes and assured the government’s full support to the Revenue Department.
