Science and Technology Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh today met Nagaland Minister for Tourism and Education Temjen Imna Along in New Delhi to discuss promotion of lavender-based agri-entrepreneurship in the state.

 

In a social media post, Dr. Singh said the discussions centred on the success of the Purple Revolution under the Aroma Mission, which originated from Bhaderwah in Jammu and Kashmir and has been adopted by Nagaland since 2022. He said the meeting also discussed schemes under the Ministry of Science and Technology to support universities and colleges in Nagaland through mentorship, financial assistance and infrastructure development.
