Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has said that digital technologies can provide greater visibility, prediction, coordination and operational efficiency. The Minister said this while addressing the third edition of FICCI Conference on Digitalisation, AI Automation and Technology Integration in Mining and Metals, Enhancing Competitiveness of the Sector in New Delhi today.

Dr Singh added that process technologies can fundamentally transform the physical production systems through which value is created. During the event, the Minister also launched the FICCI-KPMG report on Mineral Extraction to Metals Production India’s Technology Pivot for Competitiveness.
