Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers Jagat Prakash Nadda reviewed the preparedness of the Department of Fertilisers for the ongoing Kharif and upcoming Rabi seasons yesterday.
During the meeting held in New Delhi, the secretary and senior officers of the Department of Fertilisers were present. In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that the fertiliser situation remains comfortable.
He said that ensuring a continued, uninterrupted supply and timely availability of fertilisers to farmers remains the top priority of the government.
