Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav held a meeting with Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy and COP31 President of Negotiations, Chris Bowen, in Fiji.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of Pre-COP31. During the meeting, both sides discussed priority agenda items for the upcoming COP31.

In a social media post, Mr Yadav said that he reiterated India’s commitment to a constructive approach and to working with the COP31 President of Negotiations towards a balanced and ambitious outcome.
