Most Asian markets slip while European indices trade higher

Most Asian stock market indices declined today. China’s Shanghai Composite fell over one and a half per cent, Japan’s Nikkei 225 index dropped one per cent, and Singapore’s Straits Times Index slipped almost 0.2 per cent. Conversely, South Korea’s Kospi index surged over 1.7 per cent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index ended flat.
Major European indices were trading higher today. Germany’s DAX rose 1.1 per cent, France CAC 40 added almost 0.9 per cent and London’s FTSE 100 was trading over 0.4 per cent up, when reports last came in.
