Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will visit Gujarat today. He will attend the 72nd Convocation of Gujarat Vidyapith and chair a review meeting regarding preparations for the upcoming Olympic and Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad.

 

Akashvani correspondent reports that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will begin his day by inaugurating the newly constructed ‘Het Ni Haveli’ lake at Dudhala,  in Amreli district, developed by the Hari Krishna Foundation.

 

Later, Mr Shah will chair a high-level review meeting at the Circuit House Annexe in Ahmedabad to assess preparations for the upcoming Olympic and Commonwealth Games. In the afternoon, the Home Minister will grace the 72nd Convocation Ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapith as the Chief Guest and address the students.

 

The Minister is also scheduled to attend RV Patel Pharminnova Awards 2026 organised by Troika Pharmaceuticals in Thaltej, followed by a ‘Lok Darbar’ at Bopal in the Ghatlodia constituency to interact with residents.
