Russian officials have said that overnight Ukrainian drone strikes sparked fires at several oil facilities in Russia. Officials in Russia’s Rostov region said that falling drone debris caused a fire, damaging an oil depot and a tanker at the port city of Taganrog. In the neighbouring Krasnodar region, authorities reported that debris from another drone attack ignited a fire at an oil depot in Armavir. Referring to the attack in the Krasnodar region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a social media post, noted that the city is located approximately 500 kilometres from Ukraine’s border, adding that they are rightfully bringing the war back to where it came from.
