The Indian community in the UAE marked Gandhi Jayanti with tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, remembering his enduring message of peace, harmony and non-violence. At the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal and embassy officials paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, reaffirming his timeless message of peace and non-violence. Consul General Dr E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, along with officials, paid floral homage to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi at the Consulate premises.

 

Young Indian students from a music school in the UAE also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi with a soulful rendition of ‘Vaishnav Jan To’ in Arabic and Hindi, reflecting the universal appeal of Mahatma Gandhi’s message of peace and harmony.
