The State Tiger Strike Force has achieved a major success in the campaign against wildlife poaching in Madhya Pradesh. The team has arrested Sheru Pardhi, also known as Sheru Singh, from Beohari in Shahdol district. Sheru Pardhi is a resident of Katni and had been absconding for around one and a half years. His wife, Binouri Bai, has also been arrested. Police recovered knives, an axe and a bird-catching net from them. So far, eight accused have been arrested from five states, including Madhya Pradesh, in this case.
