Tripura govt to organise series of programmes under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

The Tripura government will organise a series of programmes across the state to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The month-long campaign will begin on September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, and continue until October 17.  Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat today, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the campaign will be held under the theme “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan – Jan Seva Hi Prabhu Seva”. The programmes will also highlight Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years of continuous public service, including his nearly 13-year tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and his service as Prime Minister since 2014.
 
The Chief Minister highlighted initiatives such as Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Gati Shakti, Ujjwala Yojana, Operation Sindoor and the abrogation of Article 370. Programmes including Angan Milan Seva, Seva Ki Kahani, Kalash Yatra, Service My Contribution, Seva Ke Rang-Rashtra Ke Sang, Sushasan Samvad and Namo Seva Ankahi Kahaniyan will be organised across Tripura.
 
Several committees have been formed to ensure the successful implementation of the campaign. The Information and Cultural Affairs Department has been designated as the nodal department, while ministers and secretaries have been assigned responsibilities for different programmes. Information and Cultural Affairs Secretary Abhishek Singh was also present at the press conference.
