Tripura State Government has allotted 30.30 acres of land to the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) for setting up a cricket academy in the state. The TCA has been asked to deposit 6 crore 81 lakh 75 thousand rupees with the Revenue Department towards the cost of the land.
TCA Secretary Subrata Dey announced the development at a press conference held today at the Club House of MBB Stadium. He said, the proposed Cricket academy will be established on 30.30 acres of land in the Sekerkote area.
The academy is expected to significantly benefit cricketers from across Tripura by providing them with better training and development facilities. Subrata Dey expressed hope that the land transfer process would be completed very soon.
