Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has strongly condemned the assault on Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at Ashabari in Boxanagar, Sepahijala district, stating that violence against security forces will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In a social media post, the Chief Minister described the attack by a group of miscreants as completely unacceptable and deserving of strong condemnation. He directed law enforcement authorities to take swift and stringent action against all those involved.
Dr Saha emphasized that security personnel deserve the utmost respect and protection, reaffirming the state government’s zero-tolerance stance towards violence against security forces and attempts to disrupt law and order. Meanwhile, in connection with the incident, eight accused persons have been arrested. The authorities have assured that everyone involved will be brought to justice and strict legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
