On the occasion of National Handloom Day, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended his heartfelt greetings to the state’s weavers and artisans. In a message, the Chief Minister said that the dedication, creativity, and exceptional craftsmanship of weavers have played a crucial role in preserving India’s rich handloom heritage. He described Tripura’s vibrant handloom industry as a proud reflection of the state’s cultural identity, traditions, and outstanding artistic excellence.
Dr. Saha also urged people to support and empower local weavers and promote indigenous handloom products under the Vocal for Local initiative, reaffirming the commitment to building a stronger Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
